What a pleasure it was to photograph the wedding of Aaron and Zoe at Capron House, part of the Cowdray Estate in West Sussex.
These guys are pretty darn cool. Aaron a tatoo artist in Cardiff and Zoe chose to hold their wedding in West Sussex in honour of Zoes grandparents and her time on the Cowdray Estate as a little girl. Her grandmother was able to attend the wedding (look out for HRH The Queen lookalike! - Amazing), but her grandfather had sadly passed away, so being able to to hold their day in such a special place was of much importance.
Zoe chose two dresses for their day and two pairs of shoes (check out the short dress and shoes - which flashed when she walked!) Aaron had a pretty awesome pair of hand painted shoes and customised cufflinks with photos of their cats.
After what was a truly lovely church ceremony we took these guys on a special detour to the house that Zoes Nana and Papa once lived in. They had been given permission to have their photos taken there as a special treat for her Nana. It was such a special time and so lovely to be able to capture these memories for them both and her Nana. It was lovely to hear about the fun they had had there as a family when Zoe was young.
After our detour we headed back to Capron House for the celebrations to continue and they certainly did. Full on beer pong challenges, largest grandparent group shot to date (think there were 12?), jager bomb toasts from the groom and the rest of the wedding party for his new bride, head banging bride and father dance, a stars wars styled cake, flashy shoes and apparently a fair bit of nudity after the party moved on to the local nightclub!
The day was a pleasure to be witness to. Thank you so much guys for making our day and job easy and much fun x o&c
