We love doing portrait photography in Pembrokeshire. What a beautiful part of the world! There is so much variety in even the smallest of areas. We are spoilt really! Ollie and Sabrina are getting married in a few weeks and we took them to Solva for a little portrait session, partly to get lovely photos, but also a chance for us to get to know these two just a little before their day and for them to get used to us and our cameras too.
We are natural photographers who choose real reactions over poses. The joy and laughter caught is all real, and reflects these guys and who they are when they are together.
Choosing a location for portrait photography is important. We want our couples to feel relaxed and to like where they are. Obviously, not such a hard task when given the immense beauty of Solva. We love Solva as much as they guys and it took a little trek up a rather steep hill and then the beautiful vista just did the work. Well, let’s be honest, these guys just nailed it! All the feels, all the laughter, all the joy and happiness. Oh, and look at the weather. Hard to believe this is mid September in the UK! We are so very much looking forward to capturing their wedding day at Fforest in just a few weeks, one of our favourite Pembrokeshire wedding venues and a dream to be wedding photographers at. We also found out we will be catching up with a fair few of our couples whose weddings we have had the privilege of photographing.
Portrait shoots can be something to add on to a wedding package. A chance to get photographs of yourself before your wedding day in your non-wedding attire. They give you a chance to see how you feel, what works and to develop a rapport with us before your day. However you can choose to have a portrait session just because you fancy some nice photos with your loved one or family.
As the wedding season is calming down we would love to open our diary up to more portrait sessions. If you are interested please do drop us a line and we would love to take you for an adventure and capture you being you! You can find out more about portrait sessions by contacting us here.
{Thank you Ollie and Sabrina for such a fun evening - we are super chuffed you love your photos too. Bring on the party at the farm!}
