We photograph weddings all over the UK and love it! When we were asked if we could capture the wedding of Hugo and Hannah in Frinton on Sea, we jumped at the chance. A truly stunning coastal town on the east coast, a chance to catch up with one of our old couples from the previous year and also a new challenge with different venue and surroundings.
We had met Hugo and Hannah at a wedding we had previously shot at Wasing Park in Reading. It means so much when a couple like you as people and also love the work you create. We were obviously chuffed to pieces.
We travelled east with the hope that the weather would play ball and it certainly did. Hannah chose to get married in Frinton on Sea as this is where her grandparents lived and it was full of special family memories. Hugo is from Holland and his family had travelled over to share in the day, many not speaking english. Their wedding was held in what can only be described as the smallest church we have ever shot in. So small we both shot from the back. While capturing the ceremony we also bumped into another of our couples whose wedding we shot many moons ago who live in Chester! A total random and utter coincidence and such a lovely surprise, particularly as we were at another wedding ceremony at the time (yup, we kinda fell out the back of the church it was so small and bumped into our couples daughter, not realising who she was, until her parents appeared!)
Hugo and Hannah held their reception at the local golf course which was close enough for us to pop out and head down to the sea front and the wonderful beach huts. A very fond memory for Hannah as a child, so of course we had to make use of them in the photos.
