It is always such a pleasure to photograph a wedding at the beautiful Dewsall Court in Hereford. When Dan and Liz set their day we knew we would be in for a treat as Dewsall Court is beautiful all year round, but lends itself to the stunning shades and tones of autumn.
We had met Liz at a wedding a few years previously as she is a good friend of one of our wonderful brides. We knew we would have a lovely day with Liz and Dan. We met up with them one day in Pembrokeshire for a shoot, chat and drink to discuss their wedding plans. Both were quite nervous about having their photos taken, so having a little chance to get to know how they work was really important. Its fair to say, on the day, apart from a few early jitters these guys were pros in front of the camera and all the nerves we had seen previously were gone. A couple of cheeky drinks obviously helped too! :P
The venue was decorated with pumpkins, hops and candles that brought in such a warm and cosy atmosphere to the reception. It also worked as a perfect back drop for the speeches and later for the sparklers and fire dancers that performed.
Thank you so much guys for loving our work all those years ago and choosing to have us at your special day. We loved watching you smile so much Liz and Dan, for making us laugh so much x o&c
