Christmas time weddings are always pretty special. The natural reason for celebrating are upped and the coolness of the air makes you wrap up a bit snugger than normal.
Goffy and Laura were married at the beautiful Dewsall Court in Herefordshire on what happened to be one of the coldest weekends of the year. This however didnt bother this wonderful pair. We hadnt met these guys before but were lucky enough to have shot their mutual friends wedding the year before, so very kindly Budge and Lucy passed on their kind words and shared their photos with them. On a side note, this is one of the biggest compliments we can get when this happens. It means the world to be "recommended".
The day was full of joy and laughter, of happy memories and family and friend moments. Dewsall Court was a perfect backdrop for the natural and relaxed wedding that these guys had planned. Their guests shared in singing "Coldpaly" together during the ceremony, they danced the evening away, pretty hard, from what we hear and to top it all off, their winter wedding was turned into a winter wonderland with a substantial covering of snow that night and into the following morning.
Obviously with a winter wedding there are some things to consider - mainly light and of course temperature, but there is certainly nothing that should stop you from having a cosy winter wedding if you wish. Look at these guys, they threw a winter wedding with style and the smiles were plentiful all day long.
