We love photographing weddings at Hammet House. Its such a unique venue and space. Aiden and Emma chose to hold their wedding there, but wanted it to reflect them. A relaxed, non-faff day with plenty of opportunity for their family and friends to relax. They wanted to incorporate a combination of festival styling with classy and sophisticated and its exactly what they did, Emma’s Ian Stuart dress and Jimmy Choos certainly added to the class!
Their wedding was held outside under a canvas, which unfortunately had to come down after the ceremony, but fulfilled their dreams when standing! The reception was held in the ballroom and was decorated with beautiful floral creations and a trainer theme (Aiden is a big trainer collector!) and a very welcome shot of tequila on arrival into the meal.
Aiden and Emma’s two beautiful girls were flower-girls along with two others and their youngest was privy to best seat in the house during the ceremony (right between her parents as they made their vows!).
These guys were very keen on us capturing their day as it happened and there was not a huge focus on getting couple shots for them, although we were chuffed to have 5 minutes with the both of them just to get a few photos of them as husband and wife.
Its fair to say there was a fair amount of alcohol consumed at this wedding which made for some funny dance shots. Hope your heads didn’t hurt too much guys! Thank you for choosing us to be your photographers. We are chuffed you love your photos x
