All weddings are special but when its your family member getting married there is of course that personal connection which makes it that bit more wonderful! Dave and Casi were married at Chapel 1877 ˇin Cardiff in July. Casi is my cousin (well, second cousin - our mothers were cousins).
When Casi asked us to capture their day we were super chuffed. We had captured her sisters wedding a few years previously too. Dave and Casi had their whole day at Chapel 1877 in the city where they live and work.
The venue its self is a relatively small space, but with stunning French-Gothic architectural features it made a beautiful back drop for a wedding ceremony. We took these guys out for a little bit of them time and popped to the lovely gardens near the museum in central Cardiff. Back at the venue there was lots of joy and celebrating and dancing, lots of dancing!
We were lucky enough to be seated as guests as well as being photographers so had a good bit of time to refuel with good food, family catch ups and snuggles with our new nephew and our gorgeous niece.
Its at this point we must also acknowledge the truly delicious and wonderful Osian, Dave and Casi’s super little human. He was just incredible on the day and besides being truly handsome and wonderful he slept at the right bits, was awake to see his parents get married and is possibly the most easy going, adaptable little person ever!
We had the most special day and it was something that we were all so proud of, something that we know your mum would have loved to have been part of Casi. You guys are such a beautifully strong and brave family and we are very proud of you all. Thank you again for choosing us to be your photographers x o&c
