Weddings held in family homes are so special. Surrounded deeply in special memories there is something about getting married in familiar surrounding that you cant beat! When Rhidian and Helen told us about their plans to hold their wedding day in the field and woods attached to Helens family home we couldn't help but be pretty excited. There is so much crazy creativity and skill that Helens family had in hand and they worked solidly for months to make their space ready for the wedding of their daughter. The field was mowed, the woods we tidied and decorated with sails, woodland decor, fire pit and tree stumps. The marquee was decorated with beautiful homegrown flowers (by far the nicest smelling marquee EVER! The aroma from the flowers was quite exquisite! Something we would highly recommend considering when choosing flowers for your marquee) wooden table pieces and hand painted welsh tree names. Helen had asked her brother if they could use his Mini for their mode of wedding transport. The Mini has been an ongoing project for Helens brother Alex for sometime, so the chance to get the car finished was a welcome task. Alex pulled it off just in time and it looked awesome. The whole day was full of fun and laughter, welsh sunshine and moments that really made this wedding such a joy to be a part of. Thank you guys. We loved it! o&c x
