We are still blogging weddings from last year as we were so busy with a mega busy season, being pregnant and buying a house. We now have a new little human (who sleeps so we can blog!) and a new home with space to have an office, so we are back on it with blogging as you've hopefully noticed. Blogging our most recent weddings and catching up with past seasons special days.
Rich and Beth are just one of our wonderful 2015 couples. They were married at the very cool Hammet House, in Pembrokeshire. We absolutely love shooting here, it really is a prime venue and is so cool and sophisticated,yet has that Welsh relaxed and natural charm. Rich and Beth held both their ceremony and reception at Hammet House, which really made the whole day very chilled. No need to drive about, more time with family and friends. Now, considering how darn beautiful and handsome this pair are, they were both quite nervous about having their photos taken. We always go with the approach of a wedding day is not a photoshoot, but a day of celebration. With this in mind, we make sure we don't take our couples away for long and encourage them to be themselves. If this means chatting, joking and just doing "normal" things, then thats fine with us. We are happy to suggest, but the love we have for wedding photography is based around capturing people and moments so that anyone looking at a photo can recognise the people in the photo. We love real wedding photography.
